Transfer Counseling and Agreements

A transfer counselor's role is to help students determine the academic requirements of a transfer institution and to select coursework at Westmoreland that will meet those requirements. It is important that you communicate with a transfer counselor every semester to make sure you have access to the most recent information.

Transfer counselors also work with students who are still exploring their options. Representatives from many colleges visit Westmoreland several times each semester to talk with undecided students.

Westmoreland participates in the Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation Center (PA TRAC). Participating colleges and universities have identified specific courses and degree programs that transfer seamlessly among them.
