Westly's Rising Pack
Westly's Rising Pack is an admissions program created especially for high school students and adult learners who are ready to take the next step toward college and career success. Whether beginning college for the first time or returning to continue an educational journey, participants start together - building confidence, exploring opportunites, and preparing for the future with support every step of the way.
Through Westly's Rising Pack, students receive guided assistance with the enrollment process, making it easier to apply, choose a program, and get college-ready along side classmates and friends. The experience also includes a campus tour, giving students a chance to explore learning spaces, meet staff and picture themselves as part of the college community.
Before meeting with a Pathway Advisor, please ensure that you have completed the following steps:
- Submitted your admissions application
- Provided all official transcripts (high school and/or college)
- Completed the ALEKS math placement assessment unless exempt
- Though not mandatory, it is helpful to have your FSA ID completed https://studentaid.gov/. Once you have your FSA ID, our Financial Aid team will then be able to assist you with the FAFSA application.
If you have taken any college courses while in high school (dual enrollment), you must also request those official college transcripts. These can typically be ordered through the National Student Clearinghouse website.

Sessions held at our Youngwood campus:
- Mondays at 9 a.m. - Focus on Culinary, Pastry Arts & Hospitality, transfer programs and computer programs
- Tuesdays at 3 p.m. - Focus on Nursing program, all Dental programs, Business programs, Legal and Criminal Justice programs and Forensic Science
- Wednesdays at 9 a.m. - Focus on Radiology, Surgical Tech, Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy and Video Production & Photography programs
- Fridays at 1 p.m. - General session held via ZOOM
Session held at our ATC:
- Thursdays at 9 a.m. - Session focus on all programs offered at our ATC (session held at our ATC) We have an admissions representative at our ATC every Thursday so please ask for additional times to visit that day by calling the Information Center at 724 925-4000.
