Mental Health & Community Resources

The Student Success Team at Westmoreland wants all students to feel safe, healthy and supported. Click on any of the following categories to find resources that can help you navigate the challenges you may be facing.

If you want to do a quick check on your emotional wellness we have an anonymous self-screening tool for you.

  • No one but you has access to your results.
  • Brief screen (2-3 minutes) for depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, frustration/anger, eating concerns, alcohol use concerns, family distress, and academic distress.
  • Immediate color-coded results that are easy to understand.
  • Please remember that a screening is not the same as a diagnosis.  If you are concerned about your results, see resources below.

Self Screening Tool

If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact one of the 24-hour crisis numbers below, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.

College counselors are available at Youngwood and the Education Centers.  If you would like to talk with one of our counselors regarding a non-emergency, you can call the Information Center at 724-925-4000 or walk in to the Enrollment Center in Youngwood or the front desk at an Education Center.
