Become a Westmoreland Student
Applying to Westmoreland is the first step in your journey. Whether you are applying
to one of our degree programs, the Police Academy or other programs like Nurse Aide, it's easy to get started.
When you click on the application link, you will need to first set up an account. It takes no time at all. We recommend you meet with an admissions representative to review information about your desired academic program, the admission process, available scholarships and other helpful information. To schedule an appointment with one of our admissions representatives, please call our Information Center at 724-925-4000. If you wish to skip this step, please follow the admissions steps below.
Application Steps for Degree, Diploma or Certificate Credit Programs
- Create an account with CONEX ED, our application partner →Click Here to Create Your Account
- Click the orange circle labeled APPLICANTS & RECENTLY ACCEPTED STUDENTS
- Check your email and complete authentication.
- Follow this LINK to submit the free online application. If you need some additional help, please follow the easy Step by Step instructions on how to complete the application.
- For Health Professions programs, complete the additional application that can be found on each Health Profession Program Pages under Basic Application Process
- For College in High School applicants, click here.
- Email all transcripts, including courses taken through dual enrollment, early college, and AP exam scores, to: transcriptsFREEWESTMORELAND or mail to: WCCC Admissions Office, 145 Pavilion Lane, Youngwood, PA 15697
- Go to westmoreland.edu and then click MyWestmoreland (The Student Portal)
- Login with your school email address and password (These were provided to you in an email after you applied to the college)
- Click on I am a Westmoreland Student
- On the right hand side under Registration Services, click on Placement Testing
- When asked for a password, type in Math123
- Complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at studentaid.gov (WCCC School Code: 010176)
- Apply for Foundation Scholarships (available for new/returning credential-seeking students)
- Contact registerFREEWESTMORELAND or call 724-925-6893 to make an appointment.

- Diploma, signed by your homeschool evaluator
- Grade 12 evaluation, signed by the same evaluator
- Final transcript
