Tuition and Fees
The following may be used as a guide in calculating costs for the semester. The college reserves the right to change tuition and fees without prior notification before the beginning of any academic session.
For winter 2025 classes, you must be in payment status by 3:00 p.m. on December 10, 2025.
For spring 2026 classes, you must be in payment status by 3:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026.

- Paying out of pocket (account paid in full)
- Having a documented third-party payment arrangement
- Setting up a payment plan in TouchNet
2025-26 Academic Year
Tuition per credit:1-11 credits, 19 or more credits
- Westmoreland County residents - $143 per credit
- Out-of-County Residents - $280 per credit
- Out-of-State Residents - $420 per credit
Flat Rate: 12-18 credits

- Out-of-County Residents - $4,200
- Out-of-State Residents - $6,300
Fees
- General Fee* (Westmoreland County Residents) - $72 per credit
- General Fee (Out of County and Out-of-State Residents) - $70 per credit
- Capital Fee (Out-of-County and Out-of-State Residents) - $6 per credit
- Lab Fees - $70-80 per course with labs
A payment plan for tuition and fees is available.

Other Costs
- Books & Supplies - These costs vary according to individual courses.
- Credit by exam, per course - $135
- Returned check fee - $25. This fee is assessed if you pay by check and your bank returns the check to the college for any reason.

Tuition Reduction for Older Adults
If you are a Pennsylvania resident age 60 or older, you are eligible for a 50% reduction in tuition when you enroll in credit classes. Enrollment with a tuition reduction is contingent upon space availability in the class. This reduction applies only to tuition charges and not to textbooks, equipment/supplies or lab fees. *General Fee
All students, regardless of program, pay a General Fee each term based on the number of credits they register for.
Purpose: The General Fee helps maintain and enhance the student experience by funding services such as campus technology, student life programming, academic support, and wellness initiatives. It is designed to ensure equitable access to resources that support student success.
How allocated/used: The General Fee is used to pay for operating expenses, athletics and facilities/capital expenses.
How/when collected: The General Fee is collected each semester at the time of tuition billing.
For the 2024-25 Year, the total General Fee charged to students was $3,996,508.71.
