About Westmoreland-Indiana County
Westmoreland's Indiana County Center is a great starting point for students to pursue careers in allied health professions. Indiana offers technology equipped classrooms, a videoconference meeting room, and fully equipped laboratories including computer, biology, chemistry, phlebotomy and nursing labs. A student lounge area, WIFI and ample parking are also available along with accommodations for workforce development training.
Interested in another area? Students can complete general education courses at Indiana and complete program specific courses at our other locations or our main campus in Youngwood. Students can also transfer credits to four-year universities or use this location to help facilitate one of more than 30 online degrees.
Get a Nursing Degree at Westmoreland-Indiana County
Westmoreland’s associate degree Nursing program provides the
academic and clinical preparation to start a career in entry-level nursing positions.
Upon completion of the associate degree program, graduates are eligible to sit for
the National Council Licensure Examination for the
RN (NCLEX-RN) leading to the licensure to practice nursing.
In addition, licensed practical nurses (LPNs) can continue to climb the career ladder by enrolling in the Nursing Advanced Standing to AAS for LPNs Program.

Nurse Aide Program at Westmoreland-Indiana County
The Nurse Aide Program consists of 72 hours of lecture/lab and 56 hours of clinical, which provides the skills to function as a nurse aide in a long-term care facility and meets the mandates of the federal government (via OBRA). After successful completion of the program, you will be able to function at the entry level and be eligible to take the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide certification exam.

- Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The Westmoreland-Indiana County center is located next to the Indiana County Technology Center at 439 Hamill Road in Indiana and is easily accessible from Routes 286 and 119.

- Take Route 119 North to the Clymer/Indiana Exit
- Exit at Clymer Route 286
- At the end of the exit ramp, go through the stop light and make the first left onto Hamill Rd.

- The center will be on your right in the same parking lot as Indiana County Technology Center
