Students Can Design their Future at Westmoreland
Westmoreland County Community College offers several program options to students who want to design their future in art, graphics and multimedia.
Full StoryWestmoreland County Community College will hold a Health Professions Night Wednesday, November 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at its Science Innovation Center at the Youngwood Campus. Designed for prospective students interested in pursuing careers in the health professions, college faculty and staff will share information about programs.
In celebration of national Manufacturing Day, Westmoreland-Advanced Technology Center (ATC) conducted two programs for middle and high school female students to showcase manufacturing careers for women.
The 18,500-square-foot center is an expansion of Science Hall which brings together all of the college's science programs.
October will be 1918 Influenza Pandemic Awareness Month in Westmoreland County in conjunction with a program at Westmoreland County Community College that will recognize the 100th anniversary of the deadly flu's arrival in the area.
