In collaboration with Catalyst MedTech, a national leader in nuclear medicine and
molecular imaging, Westmoreland will launch the Nuclear Medicine Technology program
beginning with the spring 2026 semester. This fully online program is designed to
address the shortage of trained nuclear medicine technologists across the country. Brianna Hoffer, a 2025 graduate of Greater Latrobe High School, walked across the stage in May with more than a diploma. She also earned college credits through Westmoreland County Community College's (Westmoreland) College in High School program, giving her an early advantage as she prepares for a career in radiology or nuclear medicine technology. Catalyst MedTech, a national leader in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, has announced the launch of the Catalyst MedTech Nuclear Medicine Technologist Program, a groundbreaking educational initiative developed in collaboration with Westmoreland County Community College.
