Artist Turns Her Passion Into Business with Degree from Westmoreland
Susan McConville-Harrer has always loved art and she has turned that passion into a successful business thanks to a degree from Westmoreland County Community College.
Full StoryStudents have been named to the Westmoreland County Community College dean's list and president's list for the summer 2019 semester.
Students submitted more than 25 nominations and 8 faculty responded by submitting their portfolios. A committee comprised of deans, past winners and faculty reviewed the material and selected Vertosick, who has been teaching English classes at Westmoreland since 2016.
Past and future licensed graduates of Westmoreland County Community College's nursing program are being offered a 25% per credit tuition adjustment to pursue a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree from Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, and Penn State New Kensington.
Westmoreland County Community College is conducting registration for 12-week credit classes which are scheduled to begin Thursday, September 5. Fall classes are held days and evenings at five locations in Westmoreland County and at centers in Fayette and Indiana counties as well as online.
