Westmoreland County Community College Graduates 16 Police Academy Cadets
Westmoreland County Community College recently celebrated the graduation of 16 police academy cadets from its Municipal Police Officers' Training Academy.
Full StoryWestmoreland County Community College will hold Xpress Enrollment Days Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 11 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, January 4 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at its Youngwood campus and centers in Latrobe, Mt. Pleasant, New Kensington, Murrysville, Uniontown and Indiana.
Westmoreland County Community College recently facilitated a successful customized training program at the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) for a group of Kennametal employees, opening the door for future similar programs.
Kristen Suhan, a Westmoreland County Community College student who is working towards a degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR), is the recipient of a Work Ethic Scholarship from the Mike Rowe Works Foundation.
