Now, we’re inviting you to join a new initiative that empowers you to give back—not just with your donation, but with your voice.
Introducing the Alumni Giving Circle—a collective effort that unites Westmoreland graduates in support of today’s students. Here’s the twist: you help decide exactly how your gift is used.
Each year, alumni will come together to donate to a single fund focused on student success. Then, at the end of the academic year, everyone who contributed will get to vote on which project receives the group's collective support. It's philanthropy with purpose—and power.
Why It Matters
The challenges our students face today are real. Whether it's an unexpected financial emergency, outdated classroom technology, or limited access to hands-on training, these roadblocks can derail even the most determined learners.
The Alumni Giving Circle turns generosity into action by directing funds exactly where they're needed most. And because alumni choose the project, your impact is not only felt—it’s guided by you.
How It Works

Join the Giving Circle by making a gift—any size—during the academic year. A donation of any amount gives you access to vote and gifts of all sizes are welcomed with gratitude. - See the Possibilities
In the spring, a few carefully selected proposals will be shared—real, high-impact projects nominated by faculty, staff, or students. - Make Your Voice Heard
Cast your vote for the project that speaks to you. The project with the most alumni support will receive the full funding. - Celebrate the Results
Each summer, we’ll announce the winning project and share stories, updates, and photos so you can see the difference you made—together.
