Computer Technology Graduate: Westmoreland 'Changed My Life'
As a single father to a young daughter, Rick Bruce was working for a moving company when he decided he wanted to go to college to study computers.
Full StoryThe following students have been named to the Westmoreland County Community College dean's list and president's list.
The renovation and creation of the Student Achievement Center will foster individual and collaborative learning resources. The center will be a renovation of Founders Hall, which is located at the college's Youngwood campus.
Westmoreland's program in Medical/Healthcare Management provides students with the academic, simulations and internship experience to start careers as medical receptionists, medical registrars, billing specialists, insurance verifiers, schedulers, entry-level coders and claims processors.
Elizabeth Brownlee plans to become a pediatric nurse after she graduates from Westmoreland County Community College's nursing program next May.
