Faculty and staff worked together to assemble exam-week care kits for students. Each care kit has a special note of encouragement to help them make it through the challenges of finals week. 

Latrobe Chamber Breakfast

We were pleased to host the Greater Latrobe-Laurel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce for breakfast at the Latrobe Education Center. It was a great chance to connect with community partners and highlight the programs and resources available right here in our region.

Spring Open House

We welcomed more than 100 prospective students and their guests to Spring Open House 2026! Attendees had the opportunity to connect with faculty and staff, speak with representatives from financial aid, registration, and athletics, and explore campus through guided tours. The event provided a great chance for future students to learn about academic programs, discover support services, and get a firsthand look at what it means to be part of the Westmoreland community.

Connecting Employers: A Tour of the Advanced Technology Center

Local employers joined faculty and staff for a luncheon and discussion at the Advanced Technology Center. The conversation centered on the success of Westmoreland students and opportunities to connect with future graduates. Dr. Kristin Mallory, president, shared updates on what’s ahead at the ATC and highlighted how we partner with industry to align programs with workforce needs.

Dr. Mallory threw out the first pitch at the Wolfpack's doubleheader baseball game against the Owls of Prince George's Community College.

Student Leadership Luncheon

Student leaders representing the 19 student organizations and honor societies shared lunch with Dr. Mallory and got better acquainted with her.
