In these interactive 60-minute sessions, you’ll pick up practical tips for academic success, learn how to navigate college life, and discover resources that make things easier from day one. Even better, you’ll meet other students, build connections, and start forming your campus community early.

No pressure, no cost—just real support, useful insights, and a chance to start strong.

Welcome to the WolfPack! Building a Sense of Belonging on Campus by Dr. McKenna Killion, RISE

Starting college is a big step, but you don’t have to take it alone. Join us to discover the many ways to get connected, find your people, and build a community that supports your goals. Whether you are a full-time or part-time student, getting connected across campus is a key step in college success. After this session, you will leave feeling confident about how to plug in, meet people, and make the most of your college experience.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to access and navigate essential college tools like MyWestmoreland, D2L, Gmail, and Google Drive. You’ll also find your class schedule, sign up for emergency alerts, and get connected to key resources so you’re ready for your first day of classes. Bring personal devices to ensure they are set-up for Westmoreland course requirements.
