Westmoreland Honor Society Chapter Inducts New Members
April 27, 2018 Youngwood, Pa.The Westmoreland County Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), a national
honor society serving two-year colleges and associate degree granting institutions,
inducted 57 new members at a ceremony held recently at the college.
To be eligible for election to the community college's PTK chapter, students must
have completed at least 12 credit hours, either full- or part-time at Westmoreland,
and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Officiating at the induction ceremony were Dr.Kristy Bishop, vice president/academic affairs and chapter advisor Dr. Kevin Kopper, assistant professor of history.
