Westmoreland County Community College Holds African-American High School Achievement Awards Ceremony
March 5, 2018 Youngwood, Pa.Westmoreland County Community College held an African-American High School Achievement Awards Ceremony and Reception on February 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Founders Hall Amphitheater at the Youngwood Campus.
The ceremony, held in conjunction with the Westmoreland Black History Month Celebration, recognized the students for academics, athletics, community service and performing arts. Students were able to attend along with family members.
“The students that receive these awards are inspirational and I am so pleased that we have the opportunity to honor them for their accomplishments. I congratulate the students and their families,” said Westmoreland President, Dr. Tuesday Stanley.
