Westmoreland County Community College strives to assist students who are veterans, service members or otherwise affiliated with the military as you transition to college.
What We Offer
Priority Registration for Veterans and Military Students: Westmoreland offers registration for veterans and military-affiliated students one week prior to open registration for each semester.
Military Student Lounge: Military students have a designated space in Founders Hall on the Youngwood campus where they can socialize, study and relax.
Military Student Events: Each semester, military students attend meet-and-greet events, Veterans Day programs, health/wellness presentations, meetings with veterans’ employment representatives and more!
Financial Aid: Some of the ways to pay for college tuition, fees and books are VA Educational Benefits, financial aid, scholarships and self-payment.
