At Westmoreland County Community College, the Career Connections Center is more than a place to polish a résumé -- it's a resource dedicated to helping students explore what they want to do and how to get there. Westmoreland's RISE program opens college doors for individuals with intellectual disabilities by offering fully inclusive coursework, academic coaching support and rich engagement in student life. Three Visual Arts students were awarded competitive scholarships to attend a three-day painting workshop October 2-4 hosted by the Latrobe Art Center.
