Academic Support On Ground at Our Youngwood Campus

Thank you for your interest in the Westmoreland Learning Center. We are announcing that Friday, October 2, 2020 will be the last day of the center. If the community would need the service in the future, we will consider opening the Westmoreland Learning Center for students. 

Westmoreland County Community College is pleased to offer the Westmoreland Virtual Learning Center (WVLC) to middle school and older students in all local area school districts.  We are offering students a safe and structured learning environment on the days they are scheduled to attend school virtually from home.

Westmoreland will provide: 

  • academic support including access to subject tutors and mentors
  • supervision
  • technical support
  • career and academic focused activities

  • The center will operate on the Youngwood campus
  • Hours of operation: 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • WVLC Fee: $40/day/student  **If you have multiple students, each student after the first will be charged a fee of $30/day/student.

After School Program Details

If you would like to extend your student's day, Westmoreland has an optional after school program. The after school program will include activities related to career pathways, academics, team building and leadership.

  • Hours of operation: 3:30-5:30 p.m.
  • After School Program Fee: $10/day/student
  • Registration form is below.

Students will need to be picked up by 3:30 p.m. if they are not participating in the after school program. If the student is not picked up by 3:30 p.m., you will be billed for that day's after school program fee. There is no discount available for multiple children for the after school program.
