MADE @Westmoreland FAQ's
How Can I Become a Member?
Becoming a member is an easy process!
It all starts with coming in for a quick tour during any of our staffed hours of operation. Walk-in’s are welcome but feel free to call and schedule a time in advance.
After your tour, if you’re interested in membership, we can register you for your desired monthly membership tier on the spot.
Once registered, you can opt to complete the free 30 minute MADE @Westmoreland orientation session that will certify you to access the space Monday-Sunday, 8 a.m -10 p.m. If you’re in a rush, you can always schedule your orientation session for another day/time (during staffed hours).
To start using any equipment/studios, you will first need to take the designated certification class. Certification classes for all equipment/studios are held weekly and average 2-4 hours per certification class. To register for certification classes, simply go to the “Classes + Workshops” page of this website, find your desired certification class(es) on the calendar and register for the class.
After you’ve completed the certification class, you will have access to use that equipment/studio! Easy!
What Are the Membership Length Terms?
All membership types are on a simple month-to-month term and can be cancelled at any time!
Please Note: Your monthly billing cycle starts the day of your membership registration. If you opt to cancel your membership, you will not be billed again after the current billing cycle.
What's the Difference Between Certification Classes & Workshops?
Certification classes are equipment training, certification & skillset based. Whether you attend a class just for fun/learn something new or are taking it specifically to get certified to use the equipment - regardless, you will receive the certification for that piece of equipment/studio.
Workshops are project/activity based, where you’ll physically make something that you can take home with you! *Some workshops may also double as certification classes; if so, they’ll be notated in the workshop description.
Can Non-Members of MADE Attend Classes & Workshops?
Yes, of course! All classes and workshops are open to both the general public and MADE @Westmoreland members!
When Can I Access the Space?
MADE @Westmoreland members have access Monday-Sunday, 8 a.m -10 p.m.
