Westmoreland County Community College is bringing a welding certificate program to the Alle-Kiski area.  The first class will be held at the Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center.  You can start on your path to a certificate right in your own area.  

Welding is a high-demand industry.  In the 10-county region surrounding Westmoreland County Community College, earnings for occupations related to this program range from $14.89 to $30.00 per hour, with an average hourly wage of $21.17.*  If you have been considering welding as a career, there is no better time than now to begin your future.

Classes Information:

  • First Class begins January 10 and run through May 7
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Location - Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center
