    Westmoreland County Community College is solidifying its partnership with the Westmoreland County Forum for Workforce Development to develop career pathways that lead to high-demand occupations, as authorized by the college’s board of trustees at the October 28 meeting.

    A Westmoreland County Community College student leadership organization will hold “Dancing With WCCC” at 7 p.m., Saturday, November 7 in the Science Hall theater at the Youngwood campus.

  • Women in Manufacturing

    To showcase the variety of manufacturing careers available for women and celebrate National Manufacturing Day, WCCC will conduct a program for female high school students Friday, October 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Advanced Technology Center, off Route 119 in Mount Pleasant.

  • WCCC Dental Hygiene & Dental Assisting programs granted reaccreditation

    The accreditation of Westmoreland County Community College’s dental hygiene associate degree and dental assisting diploma programs has been fully approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
