Career Connections Center

Welcome to the Career Connections Center

We are your one stop for free career resources and services! Our services are available for Westmoreland students and alumni.

Career Skill Education

Westmoreland’s Career Connections Center (CCC) is here to help students put their education to work.

The CCC staff collaborate with students to:

  • Identify opportunities to develop career competencies and readiness skills
  • Write their resumes and prepare for interviews
  • Explore major and career options using skills and aptitude assessments
  • Develop job search and networking strategies
  • Identify job shadowing, internship, and career opportunities
  • Connect with employers and professional organizations
  • Develop career goals and a plan for achieving identified goals

Job Board: All current students and alumni are eligible to register and use the Westmoreland County Community College online job board, Purple Briefcase. Alumni: contact Career Connections if you have problems setting up your account. Current Students, login to Purple Briefcase here.

Employers: We want to help you find your ideal candidate. Please check out the Employer section for how we can work together.

Faculty and Staff: Career Connections also has services that we can offer you. See how we can work together!

Virtual Career Connections Center

For additional resources, visit the Virtual Career Connections Center available to all Westmoreland students through Google Classroom. The Virtual CCC offers you a space to ask questions and review a range of resources related to internships, pursuing a new career, creating a professional social media presence, and more.

Check back often as resources will be updated regularly. Remember all CCC resources are free for students.

To get started, check your Westmoreland email for instructions on how to join the classroom. If you are having trouble locating the invitation, contact a member of the CCC team for the activation code.
